When house cleaning, most the tools required to clean grout are not very expensive and the products required are available in your home. Some of the options are as follows.

An old toothbrush: An old toothbrush comes in very handy and can work very well in removing grout too.

A steamer: If you own a steamer it is very easy to clean the grout, all you need to do is steam and then wipe with a microfiber cloth to clean the grout.

Products

When house cleaning, you can either purchase grout cleaning products by paying a lot of money or make your own at home by spending less amount of money. During house cleaning, for the home made cleaners you just need to put in some extra effort as these are milder than the store bought.

Vinegar and water

When house cleaning, an effective way to clean the grout is with the help of vinegar. During house cleaning, vinegar is effective in cleaning. All you need to do is mix 1 part vinegar and 1 part water in a spray bottle and your cleaner is ready. Spray it on the affected area and let it sit for a while and wipe with a clean microfiber cloth.

Baking soda and liquid detergent

When house cleaning, another effective way to treat the grout is with the help of baking soda another ideal product for cleaning. All you need to do is in a bowl take ½ cup of baking soda and 1 tsp. Liquid detergent enough to make a paste, then mix well. When needed apply it on the grout covered area and after a while scrub it well then wash and dry.

Baking soda and water

During house cleaning, baking soda is one of the effective products when it comes to cleaning. You can make a paste with 2 parts baking soda and 1 part water instead of detergent. This too works equally well. Apply this paste on the affected area and scrub well, then wash it off using water as usual.
